Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the nervous system. Nerve cells in the brain use the chemical dopamine to help control muscle movement and Parkinson’s destroys the nerve cells that make dopamine. This means it’s then impossible for the brain to send the proper signals to muscles in the rest of the body.
