This week is the Professional Care Worker’s Week, running from 1st to 4th September 2020. The purpose is to recognise the dedication, hard work and resilience of those who work in care, who play a vital role in ensuring communities are kept safe and supported.
Over recent months there has been increased recognition of professional care workers and the vital role they play. During the COVID-19 pandemic, professional care workers have continued to work tirelessly to ensure those who need care and support receive it. We are incredibly grateful for our care workers and their tremendous efforts during this very challenging time.
Throughout the week, run by the Care Workers’ Charity, there will be a number of webinars and panel discussions open for everyone to attend, around the theme of respect and recognition. To book on to these events, click here and search ‘Professional Care Worker’s Week’.
You can support Professional Care Worker’s Week by tuning into the webinars and panel discussions being held throughout the week and promote the week on social media using the hashtag #PCWWeek20.
